Soccer star Christian Pulisic has finally broken his silence over the rumors that he is dating actress Sydney Sweeney.
During the week, multiple reports emerged online which suggested that the USMNT international and the ‘Christy’ actress had been dating in recent months.
Many fans questioned the validity of the reports given that both Pulisic and Sweeney are already in relationships and now the soccer player has spoken out on the matter.
On his Instagram Story on Sunday, Pulisic said: ‘Please stop with the made up stories about my personal life. Need to hold sources accountable it can affect people’s lives’.
He also commented on another social media post which reported the rumor, writing: ‘Fake news guys let’s stop with the silly rumor’.
Earlier this month, Sweeney was spotted cozying up to former talent manager Scooter Braun after the premiere of her new movie The Housemaid.

He also commented on another post on social media land asked to stop the ‘silly rumors’
Sweeney, 28, was first romantically linked to Braun, 44, after they were spotted together at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez‘s summer wedding in Italy.
In early September, the couple were confirmed to be ‘casually’ seeing each other after they hung out together at the Venice wedding.
Shortly thereafter, the new couple were spotted on a number of dates together including a PDA-filled moment in New York City‘s Central park in early November.
Sweeney and Braun also proved their romance is still going strong as they were spotted sharing a flirty moment at a VIP afterparty for her movie premiere.
