Crystal Palace set sights on Man City star Oscar Bobb and Spurs star Brennan Johnson – and want to wrap up moves early to help boss Oliver Glasner

Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb and Tottenham‘s Brennan Johnson are high on Crystal Palace‘s wish list for January.

Bobb, 22, has recently returned to the first-team fold but picked up a hamstring injury against Brentford on Wednesday evening.

However, he has a number of clubs showing interest in his availability for next month with City open to offers.

Palace are among those keen but the Norway international also has other suitors.

Tottenham forward Brennan Johnson is another Palace admire with the Selhurst Park club believing he could be prised away in January. Johnson, 24, has made only six top-flight starts this season.

Oscar Bobb has been limited to five league starts for Manchester City so far this season

The Wales international, who cost £47million from Nottingham Forest, will hold out for what other enquiries come in before jumping to a decision but Tottenham are seemingly open to discussing his departure as they look to offset further spending to bolster Thomas Frank’s attack.

Spurs retain an interest in Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, who can leave for £60m plus £5m in January with his clause dropping to around £50m in the summer.

Manchester United made fresh enquiries earlier this week for Semenyo while Manchester City, who have been considered front runners, remain attentive to the 25-year-old’s situation.

Liverpool are also in the mix still but are assessing what happens with Mo Salah before considering their next step.

Palace, meanwhile, are keen to bring in new additions early to appease head coach Oliver Glasner. They also want a right wing-back to cover for Daniel Munoz, who is injured, plus a striker and midfielder with Auxerre’s Kevin Danois another of interest.
