Tom Lawrence’s impressive start to life in Australia has alerted a number of Championship clubs, with Norwich City, Blackburn Rovers and Charlton Athletic all monitoring the midfielder’s situation following his short-term move to Perth Glory.
Lawrence, who joined the A-League side on a short-term deal, has made an immediate impact.
In just nine appearances, the former Wales international has registered seven goal contributions and picked up three Man of the Match awards, quickly establishing himself as one of the standout performers in the league.
Norwich City’s interest is understood to be influenced by Lawrence’s previous working relationship with former Rangers manager, Philippe Clement, while Blackburn Rovers – a club where he previously spent time on loan – are also tracking his progress.
Charlton Athletic are another potential suitor, with head coach Nathan Jones’ Welsh connection believed to be a factor.
Perth Glory are reportedly keen to reward Lawrence’s form with a longer-term contract, but sources suggest they may struggle to compete financially should Championship clubs firm up their interest.

With his current contract set to expire in five months, Lawrence is believed to be available for a fee in the region of $250,000 (£130,000) – a figure that could prove attractive to a number of clubs seeking proven quality and experience.
