Paqueta seals West Ham exit
Flamengo have heralded Lucas Paqueta’s return to the club from West Ham as ‘an historic move’.
West Ham reluctantly agreed to sell for £36.4m yesterday after Paqueta requested a transfer and only to Flamengo. The midfielder travelled to Brazil last night for his medical.
James Ward-Prowse is swapping the claret of West Ham for the claret of Burnley

James Ward-Prowse has also completed his move from West Ham to relegation rivals Burnley, on loan. The 31-year-old said: ‘There’s a big battle between now and the end of the season, but I’m going to relish every moment.’
The Hammers did sign Adama Traore from Fulham for £1m with a further £1m to follow on staying up. The 29-year-old has signed an initial six-month deal.

Manchester City have secured a 20 percent sell-on and matching rights on future bids for Oscar Bobb after selling him to Fulham for £27million, pending his medical today.
Fulham are considering a revised offer for PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepi, who is valued around £35m.
Manchester City defender Nathan Ake is on AC Milan’s wishlist, and City keeper Stefan Ortega is also attracting enquiries.

Aston Villa have completed the signing of Douglas Luiz from Juventus after his loan to Nottingham Forest was cancelled.
Villa have an option to make the move permanent for £21m plus add-ons. Villa have have recalled defender Yasin Ozcan from his loan at Anderlecht to sign for Besiktas.
Newcastle say no to Zouma
Newcastle United are not pursuing a move for Kurt Zouma. The 31-year-old free agent, who played in the Premier League for Chelsea and West Ham, was offered to them after leaving Cluj this month.

Coventry back in for Onyeka
Coventry City have returned to talks for Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka.
The 28-year-old has not featured for the Bees since October but played four games for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Norwich’s £7m bid for Bodo hero
Norwich City have offered £7m to Bodo/Glimt for striker Kasper Hogh who also had interest Celtic. Hogh scored the winner in their Champions League game at Atletico Madrid last night – a goal that ensured they stayed in the competition by reaching the playoff round.
Norwich striker Josh Sargent is still intent on joining MLS side Toronto FC, having vowed to not play for the Championship club again.

Coppola’s Paris deal
Brighton defender Diego Coppola, 22, is joining Paris FC on loan, seven months after signing for the Seagulls from Hellas Verona.
Ipswich say no to Szmodics joining Derby
Ipswich have rejected a bid from Derby County for striker Sammie Szmodics.
The 30-year-old joined the Tractor Boys in a £9m deal from Blackburn in summer 2024.

Watford set to loan Udinese defender, 21
Watford are closing on a loan for Udinese centre-back Saba Goglichidze. The 21-year-old signed a five-year deal with the Italian club last summer but has been restricted to eight appearances in Serie A so far this season.
