Prince William has been offering words of encouragement in the dressing room to his beloved Aston Villa players as they head into their Europa League final, hoping to end a 30-year wait for a European trophy.
William took to social media before the match to issue a rallying cry to the team he has supported since he was a young boy, posting: ‘Come on Villa! Good luck in tonight’s Europa League final. UTV! W’.
The Europa League final between Freiburg and Aston Villa kicks off at 8pm, with William set to be among the sea of claret and blue roaring Villa on from the stands.
