Kieran McKenna leaves Ipswich: Manager drops huge bombshell despite guiding club back to the Premier League

Kieran McKenna has quit his role as Ipswich Town manager – despite leading them to promotion to the Premier League last season.

The former Manchester United coach took the Tractor Boys back to the top flight having overseen relegation the year before – 12 months on from his first Championship promotion with the club.

He initially took control in 2021, when the club were in League One, and earned back-to-back promotions.

McKenna has been closely linked with a move to Fulham, but it is understood he is set to take a break from management.
