Australian football legends Robbie Kruse and Brett Emerton have been given a surprising honour at a baseball match.
The duo has thrown out the pitch at the Seattle Mariners’ match versus the Baltimore Orioles in the US.
Their shock activity has been completed in front of thousands of fans at T-Mobile Park in Washington.
Both Kruse and Emerton are two of the Socceroos greatest ever players.
They’ve taken centre stage just days before Australia faces the USA in both sides’ second match at the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
Both men came up with some loopy throws, moments before Seattle claimed a 3-0 victory over Baltimore.

Fellow former Socceroo Robbie Kruse (pictured) was also given the chance to do so
Kruse played 75 matches for Australia across his career, before retiring in 2019.
Emerton represented the Socceroos on 95 occasions.
He was also a part of Australia’s squad in the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups.
The USA have beaten Australia two times in four meetings across their history, with Australia only jagging a solitary victory.
Both sides won their first group stage matches in style – but the tournament co-hosts impressed significantly by claiming a 4-1 victory over Paraguay.
After goals from Nestory Irankunda and Connor Metcalfe, Australia meanwhile, bagged a 2-0 upset win against Turkey.
The upcoming clash is shaping up to be a grudge match for the ages due to several pundits from both nations taking pot shots at each other over the last few weeks.
Former US footballer Mike Grella has become the most hated man in Australia for his takes, after slamming the Socceroos frequently.
