Alejandro Garnacho‘s new neck tattoo has attracted the attention of fans in recent weeks since his summer move from Manchester United to Chelsea.
Garnacho, 21, joined the Blues for £40million in August after falling out of favour under Ruben Amorim.
The Argentine endured a difficult relationship with the United boss and was part of the club’s ‘Bomb Squad’ over the summer after Amorim told him to find a new club at the end of last season.
He has had a slow beginning to life at Stamford Bridge, making just two starts, although it was Garnacho’s cross that led to Richard Rios’ own goal during Chelsea’s 1-0 win against Benfica on Tuesday night.
One of the most notable things about Garnacho since his move has been the presence of a fresh tattoo on the front of his neck, leading to fans questioning what it means.
And, it can be revealed that the writing on his tattoo reads: ‘Nunca es suerte, siempre es Dios.’

The tattoo is new since Garnacho’s Chelsea move and says: ‘It’s never luck, it’s always God’
This translates from Spanish as: ‘It’s never luck, it’s always God.’
The tattoo is one of many Garnacho has, which includes one on his arm that is a tribute to the hit TV show Prison Break – and he regularly shows off the artwork on his body on social media.
Meanwhile, after Chelsea’s victory on Tuesday, Garnacho spoke out about his exit from United, who he joined aged 16 from Atletico Madrid in 2020.
‘I think it was a difficult moment there, just training alone,’ Garnacho said during an interview with TNT Sports. ‘But I’ve got nothing bad to say about my old club Manchester United.
‘There are just bad moments in life… I’m very happy to be here now, play in this competition and get 3 points today.
‘When we were young we dreamed of playing Champions League nights and we are here now so I’m very happy.
‘It’s three big points. We needed that after losing our first game so we’re all very happy.’
Garnacho has already returned to Old Trafford this season, but he was an unused substitute during Chelsea’s chaotic 2-1 defeat by the Red Devils earlier this month.

Rather than receive a cordial welcome, Garnacho was targeted with chants during his warm-up, and boos throughout the contest.
Ahead of kick off, United fans could be heard singing: ‘Who’s that t*** from Argentina? Who’s that money-grabbing wh***?
‘Garnacho is his name and he hasn’t got a brain and he won’t be winning trophies anymore!’
The song continued throughout the first half of the game. It was the same chant that United fans targeted Carlos Tevez with when he swapped United for Manchester City in 2009 in a £47m deal.
Meanwhile, at the end of the match, Garnacho was seen on the pitch with his former team-mates.
This included Amad Diallo, and the pair were deep in conversation before he later briefly greeted Bruno Fernandes.
Garnacho then walked across the pitch solemnly with his hood up and gloves on as he battled to hide himself from the Manchester rain.
