50 Serie A footballers and F1 driver ‘caught up in prostitution ring scandal’ as ‘investigation leads to four house arrests’

A luxury prostitution ring in Milan used by 50 football players from the Serie A and a Formula One driver has been uncovered, according to reports.

Four house arrests have reportedly been made by the Italian police, while over €1.2million in profits from the illicit activity have been seized, as attempts are made to dismantle a premium escort service network.

An illegal events promotion company is said to have offered a ‘comprehensive’ service worth thousands of euros for wealthy clients.

The packages on offer included accommodation, dinners in high-end restaurants in Milan, alongside an evening with a woman of their choice.

Italian media outlet La Gazzetta claims that 50 players from the Serie A, including several stars from both AC Milan and Inter Milan, are customers of the network.

While the four people involved with facilitating the escort services, and reported money laundering, are under house arrest, it is understood that the unnamed players, and all other customers, are not said to be under investigation.

An investigation has uncovered that footballers from Inter and AC Milan and other Serie A teams were customers of a luxury prostitution ring in Milan, according to reports

An undisclosed F1 driver is also alleged to have been a customer of the prostitution ring, and La Gazzetta has released wiretaps which reveal a supposed friend of the driver getting in contact with the company.

They are alleged to have asked: ‘I have a friend who is a Formula 1 driver and he wants a paid girlfriend. Can we find her?’

‘I’ll send him the Brazilian,’ was the reply.

The report also claimed that one woman, who was on the books of the organisation, got pregnant from a paid relationship with one of the customers.

Nitrous oxide – the recreational drug also referred to as laughing gas – was also said to be used by those involved.

The agency reportedly used as a front of the organisation offering sex services, is based in Cinisello Balsamo, in the Milan metropolitan area.

They are believed to have recruited escorts and organised parties in illegal nightclubs for years. However, the police operation led to several house and venue searches, uncovering money made from the unlawful activity.
