Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Gabriela Moura has issued a message of support to the Brazilian national team after their disappointing World Cup opener.
On Saturday afternoon, fans were left stunned after giants Brazil were held to a 1-1 draw with Morocco at MetLife Stadium in their first game at this year’s tournament.
Many had believed that Brazil would steamroll through FIFA’s 85th ranked nation in their Group C opener but, instead, were forced to leave with just one point.
Prior to the game, Moura – who has an Instagram following of three million – had starred in a TikTok insisting that Brazil would emerge as the victors from the clash.
The 21-year-old danced around and captioned the video: ‘Mood because Brasil is winning today.’
Of course, Brazil did not win the game. But that didn’t seem to dampen Moura’s spirits, who later posted a supportive message to the team.

‘Amo ser brasileira,’ Moura captioned an Instagram post, which translates from Portuguese to ‘I love being Brazilian.’
As well as her three million Instagram followers, Moura also boasts a further 12 million on TikTok, regularly posting fashion and lifestyle content for her fans.
She made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut back earlier this year and recently walked the Swimsuit Runway Show during Swim Week in Miami Beach in May.
Prior to that, Moura made her runway debut at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
In the game itself, Brazil were stunned as Ismael Saibari opened the scoring in the 21st minute of the game in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr found an equalizer later in the first half but Brazil weren’t able to push on and find a winner on the day.
They will return to the field on Friday afternoon for a clash against minnows Haiti.
